This project was a part of the communication and marketing strategies made for the Aperol Spritz Bar, the first and only official Aperol Bar in Spain.
The goal was to approach the targeted audience at a personal and memorable level and increase the general awareness of the new bar among Barcelona tourists and residents.
We created a character called Mario and introduced him to the online audience through a social media campaign. We then asked users to find him wandering in the streets and take a selfie with him to win Aperol gadgets.
The results were amazing, more than 7000 people reached in just few days and hundreds of selfies with Mario on the social networks.
